The phasor measurement algorithm based on finite impulse response (FIR) filter is mainly limited by the performance of the window function and the center frequency of the filter. Therefore
when using a short-time window for estimation
the measurement algorithm is easily affected by interference from other components and harmonic frequency deviation. To address this issue
this paper designs a tunable multi-component FIR filter
aiming to significantly reduce the impact of harmonic frequency deviation by adjusting the newly added filter parameters. The tunable parameters are optimized and selected by frequency band based on the principle of minimizing frequency error to determine the optimal parameters for different frequency bands
thereby improving the estimation accuracy of harmonic phasor parameters. Simulation results show that the proposed adjustable multi-component filter can maintain a high phasor estimation accuracy under various test conditions
and the wideband harmonic phasor measurement algorithm has a fast response speed and can meet the real-time measurement requirements.
