Triple-space Zero Harmonic Modulation of Dual Three-phase Open-winding PMSMs Driven by H-Bridge
The dual three-phase open-winding permanent magnet synchronous motor (DTP-OW-PMSM) with H-bridge topology generates the third harmonic current in the zero-sequence circuit due to the opening neutral point
which seriously affects the motor efficiency and restricts its application in high-quality servo systems. However
the existing low harmonic modulation methods for dual three- phase permanent magnet motors only consider the fundamental harmonic spaces
while neglecting to establish a zero- sequence space vector set for zero harmonic modulation. This paper proposes a triple-space vector set and a zero harmonic modulation strategy for the H-bridge driven DTP-OW-PMSM system. Based on the vector distribution of the DTP-OW- PMSM with H-bridge topology
the dual-space vector control set is established by using simplified vectors in the fundamental (α-β) and harmonic (x-y) spaces. For the zero- sequence (o1-o2) space
four maximum zero vectors are selected to construct the zero-sequence space vector control set. Moreover
a four-dimensional coupled modulation strategy is designed in the dual-space and a zero vector redistribution method is proposed in the zero-sequence space. Experimental results show that the proposed modulation method
combining with harmonic closed-loop control
effectively suppresses low-order harmonic current and significantly enhances the performance of the DTP-OW-PMSM.
