Study on the Influence Factors of Water Recovery From the Wet Flue Gas
“The water consumption of thermal power units in China is high, and it is of great significance to carry out research on water recovery from wet flue gas. This study conducted flue gas moisture recovery experiments on fluoroplastic heat exchangers, focusing on the effects of flue gas temperature difference and flue gas velocity on moisture recovery. The study analyzed the changes in water recovery ratio and rate when only changing the flue gas inlet velocity, changing the flue gas inlet velocity under the same flue gas temperature difference, and changing the flue gas temperature difference under the same flue gas velocity. The results showed that with the same temperature difference in flue gas, as the flue gas velocity increased from 3 to 8.2 m/s, the ratio of experimental to theoretical water collection decreased from 90.02% to 78.18%, and the water collection rate decreased from 20.37% to 18.44%. Both the water collection ratio and rate showed a decreasing trend. When the flue gas velocity is the same and the flue gas temperature difference increases from 5.3 ℃ to 13.2 ℃, the water collection ratio increases from 77.53% to 96.69%, and the water collection rate increases from 18.86% to 51.77%. As the temperature difference of flue gas increases, the water collection ratio and water collection rate show an upward trend. By mathematically modeling the experimental data, the correlation coefficient R value is 0.99, and the required heat transfer area is determined using a preset theoretical water collection rate; Using a fitting function, obtain the actual water collection rate at different flue gas velocities to select the appropriate heat exchanger size for engineering applications. The research results systematically reveal the influence mechanism of flue gas flow rate and temperature difference on water recovery performance, and propose engineering applicability optimization schemes.”
