An Experimental Study of Using Cement Stabilized Silt as Filling Material
a large quantity of waste soil is produced in the foundation pit engineering. In order to realize the resource utilization of solid waste
silt waste soil is taken as a research object
and different compactness set according to the compaction characteristics measured by the compaction test. The unconfined compressive strength test and the water stability test are conducted to investigate the feasibility of using silt as a filling material after cement solidification. The results show that the maximum dry density decreases after adding cement to the waste silt
but the optimal moisture content is opposite. The strength of cement stabilized waste silt increases with the increase of cement content and compaction degree. When the cement content is low (5%)
the cement stabilized waste silt is more sensitive to the decrease of compaction degree and immersion condition
and decreases obviously. The increase of compaction degree obviously improves the water stability
but with the increase of cement content and age
the effect of compactness on water stability tends to be smooth or even weakened.
