the multi-wavelength method is used for measurements of temperature and emissivity of ethylene/air inverse diffusion flames.A hyperspectral imager is used to collect the combustion flame radiation in the range of 600-900 nm.And the two-dimensional distribution of temperature and emissivity of the inverse diffusion flame under different air and ethylene flow are calculated. The results show that the high temperature zone is located inside the two wings of the flame
while the peak area of the emissivity is mainly located in the two wings of the flame and the top region. And with the increase of air and ethylene flow
the maximum temperature of the inverse diffusion flame increases. The emissivity is proportional to the air flow
and inversely proportional to the ethylene flow. The measurement of temperature and emissivity of normal diffusion flame and inverse diffusion flame shows that this measurement technique is feasible and can be applied to the measurement of actual flames such as the combustion flame of boilers.
