this paper proposes an evaluation method of distribution station area’s operation status based on RSR.The operation status evaluation index of distribution station area and its subjective and objective weight coefficient established by this method are introduced.The operation status evaluation method and process of distribution station area based on RSR method are analyzed.According to the operation status evaluation index of the distribution station area that the power staff focus on

it is concluded that the operation status of the distribution station area is divided into three levels: excellent

medium and poor

and then make a scientific and reasonable operation and maintenance strategy.The effectiveness and feasibility of the method are verified by an example.
