Abstract

Large-scale blackout in Western Europe power grid on 4 November 2006 was highly concerned from electric power industry.Final report on the disturbances of 4 November was released lately by UCTE.In this paper

the main causes and important factors about the accident were introduced and concluded.Based on the report

countermeasures were discussed for Hunan power grid according to its practical condition.
