Abstract

The current domestic sterilization and algae-removal program of circulating cooling water is discussed.Three options for outsourced bactericides

sodium hypochlorite and chlorine dioxide generators for electrolysis of salt are optimized for a newlybuilt 1 000 MW unit’ s sterilization and algae-removal program of circulating cooling water.Through technical and economic comparisons

the optimal sterilization and algae-removal program of circulating cooling water for this unit is outsourcing fungicide.This system is simple

and the one-time investments are very low

with the advantages of no routine maintenance workload and the various drug addition ways.
