Study of slope deformation and parameters sensitivity in supporting design of composite soil nailing wall
Composite soil nailing wall (CSNW) composed of soil nails and prestressed anchor cable can reinforce surrounding soils effectively and control deformation of the foundation pit. Also
it is used in the supporting design of foundation pit widely. Based on the foundation pit of Jinan’s West Railway Station
the fast Lagrangian analysis of continua in 3 dimensions (FLAC3D) is used to do numerical simulation of the CSNW
and do detail comparison with field monitoring. Elastoplastic entity unit and linear anchor unit are applied and the interaction between soil and anchor cable is considered in the numerical simulation. 3D simulation analysis of foundation pit has been done during the whole process of excavation
supporting and construction. Force mechanism of CSNW and effects of soil nails and prestressed anchor cable are analyzed in the aspects of horizontal strain of slope
vertical strain of bottom
ground settlement
axial force of soil nails and prestressed anchor cable. Mechanical parameters and design parameters are analyzed according to their impact on the strain of the foundation pit. And the results are analyzed and compared with the field monitoring data. The results show that the model considering interaction between soil and anchor cable can simulate the whole process of CSNW very well
and can get a very high computational accuracy. The parameters including soil cohesion
soil friction
soil nail spacing and prestress have great influence on slope deformation. And the results can provide reference to the choosing of design parameters of CSNW.
