2005. The rainfall exceeded 1 000 mm. The storm triggered the unstable deformation of the k2 slope. Based on the Load/Unload Response Ratio theory
the deformation and stability of the slope are discussed by analyzing the response ratio of inner deformation
outer deformation and the reinforced structure of k2 high cut slope. The slope deformations on support and without support structure under the storm are analyzed by using finite element method
and the effect of the slope reinforced structure is assessed. The deformation ratio of the slope trends stable under the storm after reinforcement. k2 slope reinforcement can be met the stability of design standards.
