numerical analysis is carried out to study the working behavior of composite soil-nailed wall(CSNW) in soft soil
including ground deformation and stress distribution in soil nails and leading piles. By comparing with simple soil nailed wall’s simulation
the function of the leading piles in CSNW is analyzed. It is shown that the leading piles in CSNW can significantly help decreasing the displacement of retained soil as well as change the distribution of soil deformation
