The finite element expressions of two-dimensional seepage equations are obtained. The Darcian velocities after the suspended curtain construction are compared with that before it as well as the hydraulic gradients on the location where water comes out in the downriver. The results have showed that they decreased notably except that the velocities increased in small curtain bottom areas. The anti-scour performance should be improved on the curtain bottom when it is used in the hydraulic projects.
