The Eshelby equivalent inclusion method is a effective method to establish the constitutive models for seeping damage rock. There are a few paper discussed using Eshelby equivalent inclusion method to establish the constitutive models until now..Using Eshelby equivalent inclusion method
a Helmholtz free energy for seeping damage rock is set up in this paper. A constitutive model for seeping damage rock is resulted from the Helmholtz free energy function with the theory of continuum damage mechanics. A failure rule for seeping damage rock is brought up. Then a statistical seepage model for rock is proposed. The presented models are verified as reasonable and practical by compared with the experiment data.
