Urea was employed to increase α-linolenic acid content of linseed oil. Conditions for Urea purifying α-linolenic acid process were optimized by using response surface analysis. Experimental results show the best conditions for it are as follows: the inclusion reaction mixture of fatty acid
urea
ethanol(quality than)= 1∶3∶7
the inclusion temperature is -20 ℃
and the inclusion time is 30 hours
when α-linolenic acid content is 93.27 %. The method is feasible for the development of new drugs
