基于变换域编码中应用最广的是离散余弦变换(DCT)和小波变换(DWT).小波的迅速发展给传统DCT提出了严峻考验.DCT算法有新发展:内嵌法、策略性重组的引进使其具有类似小波的特性

故DCT的优良特性使其在图像压缩中仍然有广阔的应用前景.实际上
