“This article introduces the research progress in the field of precipitation characteristics in Liaoning Province's river basins. Relevant experts used various methods to analyze the trend and cyclical characteristics of precipitation in six major river basins in Liaoning Province, and quantitatively identified the characteristics of annual precipitation encounter in any two major river basins, providing support for the construction plan of Liaoning Province's water network and the "Dongshui Jiliao" three line water diversion plan.”
