No matter thermal or electrical fault in transformer
it would lead to insulating medium cracking
which would produce characteristic gases. In the process of medium decomposition
the carbon-hydrogen bonds energy is lower.Generally
it generates hydrogen first
so hydrogen is one of the main components of fault characteristic gases.Through the phenomenon description of abnormal overproof hydrogen content in insulating oil of JEPC 2 high-voltage auxiliary transformers
according to the insulating oil chromatographic analysis
the reason of overproof hydrogen content was analyzed
and relevant treatment measures and implementation effect were introduced.
