Landsat TM image in 2004 was main data resource

the index of NDVI was extracted by using RS and GIS technology

on this basis

the vegetation coverage was quantitatively studied and analyzed

and the spatial distribution was obtained

this results could provide the technology support for the vegetation coverage dynamic monitoring and ecological environment assessment.
