Nanoscale conductive polyaniline aqueous dispersion was prepared by acidic phosphate ester with a short hydrophilic unit as a dopant and characterized by Transmission Electron Microscope and Cylic Voltammograms. The results showed that spherical particles of polyaniline were distributed uniformly and the size ranged from 20 nm to 80 nm.In addition
electrochemical activity of the conductive polymer dispersion was still kept in alkaline media and it displayed an excellent stability upon cycling. The investigation broadens fields of prospective application of conductive polyaniline in alkaline solution such as anticorrosion.
