UTILIZATION OF DRY AND SEMI-DRY FLUE GAS DESULFURIZATION RESIDUES
The dry and semi-dry flue gas desulfurization(FGD) residues are usually stacked without recovery
which has become an obstacle to the popularization of the dry and semi-dry desulfurization technologies.Based on the composition analysis of the FGD residues
a method for utilizing the desulfurization residues is presented in this paper to produce sulfoaluminate cement
and an experiment is hence conducted. The raw meals are prepared with the desulfurization residues and other materials according to appropriate elements matching ratio.Experimental results show that through proper calcination
the raw meals can be converted to sulfoaluminate cement clinkers with calcium sulfoaluminate(Ca4Al6O12SO4)and dicalcium silicate(Ca2SiO4) as main minerals
and the strength of the cement clinkers is high enough.
