Directing against the problems existing commonly in rotary air preheaters

such as large air leakage

as well as corrosion and ash-clog occurred easily on the cold end etc.

analysis has been carried out

and retrofit measures being put forward

including adoptation of double-seal and fixed seal technologies

using fixed water flushing facility to realize on-line water flushing

and using high-presurre water to carried out jet cleaning during repair

and the cold end of air preheater has to use corrosion resistant materials

such as COR-TEN steel

enamel and ceramic materials etc..After implementation

the above-mentioned problems all have been resolved.
