Numerical simulation of convective heat transfer for supercritical CO2 in inclined tubes
Numerical simulation of convective heat transfer for supercritical CO2 in circle tubes with an inclination of 30° was determined to investigate the influence of heat flux and inlet mass flow rate on the heat transfer characteristics.Using the relative secondary flow kinetic energy K to express the secondary flow intensity quantitatively
the distribution of tube wall temperature and heat transfer coefficient in tube circumference
the heat transfer coefficient at top generatrix
the Fanning friction factor and the relative secondary flow kinetic energy K were obtained. The results showed that
the tube wall temperature at top generatrix was higher than that at the bottom generatrix
and the top circumferential wall temperature was higher than that at the bottom. The heat flux had less effect on heat transfer coefficient
the Fanning friction factor
and the relative secondary flow kinetic energy K at top generatrix
but the influence of inlet mass flow on them was greater.
