Thermal parameter optimization for dual pressure waste heat recovery generation system of a new dry process cement kiln
A numerical model that is fit for the dual pressure waste heat recovery generation system of a new dry process cement kiln was established to make full use of the waste heat of flue gas discharged from the kiln head and preheater.Taking a 5 000t/d cement production process as the example
the coupling relationship between and among such parameters as exhaust temperature of the boiler with air quenching cooler(AQC boiler)and that with suspension preheater(SP boiler)
steam temperature from the high and low pressure section and dryness of the turbine exhaust were analyzed in detail
and their effects on thermal performance of the whole system were also investigated. Moreover
by optimization on major thermal parameters of this waste heat generation system
the steam parameters corresponding to the unit maximum output power were obtained. The results show that
the flow rate of steam from high pressure section of the AQC boiler and that from the SP boiler increases with a decrease in exhaust temperature
while that of the steam from low pressure section of the AQC boiler shows an opposite change. As the evaporating pressure reduces
the output power increases first and then drops
its maximum value appears within the range with the high pressure evaporating pressure of 0.9MPa to 1.1MPa and the low pressure evaporating pressure of 0.18MPa to 0.20MPa.
