Emission and control of PM2.5 in flue gas for different types of coal-fired boilers
By electrical low pressure impactor(ELPI)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)
The particle size distribution of PM2.5 in flue gas and their morphology were investigated for different types of coalfired utility boilers. The results indicate that the number of PM2.5 in pulverized coal boilers ranges from4×106 to 17×106 per cubic centimeter
while that in circulating fluidized bed(CFB)boilers is about 2×106per cubic centimeter. The content fine mode particles in pulverized coal boilers are significantly higher than those in CFB boilers.Compared to bag and electric-bag composite dust collector
the electrostatic precipitator(ESP)has a lower removal efficiency of PM2.5
for the lower removal efficiency for particles with size from 0.1μm to 1μm.Due to the evaporation of the droplets escaped from desulfurization
