Abstract
Heat rate is one of the most important indicators in evaluating the heat efficiency of a thermal power plant or equipment.Different heat rates are defined in this paper:the turbine heat rate
the turbine island heat rate and the plant(unit)heat rate.The application ranges and conditions of the three heat rates are analyzed.It suggests that
