Co-combustion characteristics of bituminous coal and lignite in O2/CO2 atmosphere
For the actual situation of mixed coal combustion in power plant
co-combustion tests of the actual burned lignite coal and bituminous coal in a power plant were conducted on a thermogravimetric analyzer
under conditions with different oxygen concentrations
blending ratios and heating rates. The co-combustion characteristics of the blending coal were analyzed based on test data. The results show that
the changing rules of the mixed coal combustion were the same and the results were joint action of bituminous coal and lignite. With the increasing mixing ratio of lignite
the ignition temperature and burnout temperature of the mixture both reduced
and the comprehensive combustion characteristic index increased. The combustion characteristic curves of the mixture in 20% O_2/80% CO_2 atmosphere was similar to that in 20% O_2/80% N2 atmosphere. In 20% O_2/80% CO_2 atmosphere
the ignition temperature and burnout temperature were about 10 ℃ higher than that in 20% O_2/80% N2 atmosphere.In 30% O_2/70% CO_2 atmosphere
the ignition temperature of the mixed coal was 3℃ higher than that in 20% O_2/80% N_2 atmosphere. When the heating rate increased from 10 ℃/min to 40 ℃/min
all the ignition temperature
burnout temperature and comprehensive combustion characteristic index of the mixed coal increased.
