Effect of condensate load adjustment technology on low temperature economizer system: experimental and numerical study
The effect of condensate load adjustment technology(CLAT) on low temperature economizer system(LTES) is nonnegligible. To investigate the influence characteristics
experimental study on a domestic supercritical 660 MW unit was carried out. Moreover
by establishing the transient simulation model for heat transfer performance of the LTES
the test results were numerically investigated. The results show that
the flue gas temperature and water temperature at the LTES outlet had a long response and retardation time with the adoption of CLAT
but the fluctuation of the operational parameters was slight and the system disturbance was small
thus the unit's safe
stable and economic operation could be ensured. The effect of condensate flow on the LTES increased with the unit load. The amplitude and rate of the flue gas and water temperature at the LTES outlet increased gradually under the condition with the same step change
and the variation of flue gas temperature at the LTES outlet was smaller than that of the water temperature. The calculation results were in good agreement with the experimental data
verifying the accuracy and applicability of the established model. The above research results can provide references for CLAT transformation for units equipped with LTES
and the simulation method can provide basis for prediction of load response rate for boilers.
