Abstract
In order to master the characteristics
calculation and control methods of high-voltage shunt reactor noise
by theoretical analysis
modeling calculation and field measurement
we discussed the mechanism of the reactor noise
its sound power level and sound pressure level characteristics
attenuation and interference calculation methods
and control measures. The results show that the reactor noise is mainly produced by the electromagnetic force between the core of bread
and its sound power level increases with the increase of rated capacity. Sound energy is mainly concentrated in the 100 Hz center frequency of 1/3 octave band. The sound pressure level of reactor has the complex distribution and slow attenuation. The acoustic interference phenomenon is obviously observed in the process of acoustic attenuation. Sound pressure level of reactor noise increases with the increasing operating voltage
but has nothing to do with the operation load. Acoustic interference should be taken into account in reactor noise calculation and its accuracy needs to be improved. The main measure of controlling noise is using sound insulation cover
by which the highest amount of noise can be reduced by 20 d B. This study not only provides an important support for substation planning and design
but also provides an important reference for noise control and governance.
