In order to investigate dynamic model test and adaptability of isolation technology for reactor of UHV
we investigated the similarity model design of the ultrahigh-voltage(UHV) reactor based on the similarity theory.A test scheme was established based on numerical simulation analysis. The scheme was easy to conduct on a shaking table and the gravity effects could be neglected. Our simulation results show that the seismic response of the reactor bushing based on the strict similarity model is consistent with the test results. Thus
the test scheme gives the real seismic response of the equipment bushing under earthquakes.Meanwhile
using vibration isolation theory and numerical simulation
we analyzed the design scheme
and conducted shaking table tests on the similarity model. Our results show that the gravity effect on the seismic response of reactor bushing is minor and can be neglected. For a seismic structure
simulation results are consistent with shaking table test results
which indicates that simulation can reveal the seismic response of reactor bushing under an earthquake. After using vibration isolation
the maximum strain of reactor bushing reduces significantly. The isolation efficiency can reach more than 50% if the earthquake is relatively strong.Shaking table test results show that
after using vibration isolation
the reduction of the acceleration at reactor bottom is relatively small. Moreover
the vulnerability of reactor bushing is much higher than its main body. Thus
the reduction of the maximum strain at reactor bushing should be our main consideration in the vibration isolation design of UHV reactor.
