Study and Verification of Conducted EMI for Rectifier Based on High Frequency Modeling of Transmission Line
Long power transmission line can lead to voltage pulse wave reflection and exceed electromagnetic compatibility limits for power electronics device and system. For accurate prediction of rectifier’s electromagnetic interference
the establishment of a cable model is the key to reflect transmission features. The lumped parameter based S. Kim model can not exactly describe inherent high-frequency characteristics of transmission line
considering the influences of frequency parameter variation and skin effect on conductor’s current distribution density. To achieve accurate parameter identification of the wideband parasitic model
the equivalent circuit based on the "N-Branch" theory is employed. Thus accurate prediction model and stable convergence are obtained
and this effective approach provides a theoretical basis for EMC research of power rectifier. Finally
calculation and experimental results of conducted interference with the proposed modeling method are almost the same at low frequencies
and there is only about 5 d B estimation deviation at high frequencies
