Time Domain Measurement Method of Broadband Characteristics of Large Scale Electrical Equipment
broadband characteristic measurement has important research value.Long-distance measurement leads are needed in the measurement for the time domain of broadband characteristics of
large-scale electrical equipment
which will not only reduce the quality of waveform
but also bring errors of the leads. According to the requirements of field test
we propose a time domain measurement method for broadband characteristics of large-scale electrical equipment. In this method
coaxial cable is introduced as the measurement lead of time domain pulse method. Based on the grounding of shielding layer at both ends of coaxial cable
the influence of surrounding environment on the measurement results is eliminated. At the same time
the formula of "open circuit
multi load calibration" is used to compensate the influence of long-distance measurement cable on the measurement results influence. The broadband characteristics of resistors
inductors
capacitors and 10 kV transformers are measured in the laboratory by using the measurement and calibration method proposed in this paper. The measurement results show that the method can be used to accurately obtain the broadband characteristics of the equipment to be tested by measuring the voltage and current at the head end of the cable
by which the operability and convenience of the time-domain method for measuring the broadband characteristics of large-scale equipment can be greatly improved
