0 grade was systematically analyzed and optimized by studying sheath materials, cable structures, production processes, and other aspects. Results showed that selection of sheath materials with excellent combustion shelling and self-extinguishing properties, selection of cable auxiliary materials, and strict control of production process had a certain impact on flaming droplets/particles of d
0 grade, with could provide reference for cable enterprises in development and manufacturing process of B
1/d
0 flame-retardant cables.
