Abstract: The metal interlock armor of cable has excellent longitudinal and radial mechanical properties,which is an important component to realize the safe and reliable operation of cables. This paper compares and analyzes the domestic and foreign standards on the material,size and performance of interlock armor metal belt,the size and weight of interlock armor structure,as well as the test and evaluation method of interlock armor performance,summarizes and analyzes the applicability of the standards at home and abroad,so as to provide a reference for the design,manufacture and application of interlock armor cable in China.
