Abstract: This paper introduces the basic situation of submarine cable standards at home and abroad. In the future,the technical requirements for submarine cable with rated voltage of 66 kV class,insulation and sheath size reduction,qualification test of "dry" design and "wet" design, qualification test for wet dielectric, corrosion performance test,engineering special and specific test and other revision requirements are put forward.
