Abstract:
To accurately and systematically characterize the fluctuation and aggregation characteristics of wind resources in Ulanqab, the indexes of fluctuation range and fluctuate rate are proposed firstly. The potential and fluctuation features in Ulanqab are analyzed based on these indexes. Secondly, the wind resource fluctuation characteristics under different wind direction sectors are comparatively analyzed according to the fitting parameters of Weibull distribution. In the wind direction occurred more frequently, the corresponding wind speed is larger and fluctuates less weakly. In order to mitigate wind power fluctuation effectively, the aggregation characteristics of wind power between different spatial sites in the region of Ulanqab are measured based on the Kendall correlation coefficient.Meanwhile, the reducing indexes of fluctuation range and fluctuation rate are defined to quantitatively analyze the relationship between the aggregation effect and the correlation coefficient. The results show that the reducing indexes linearly decrease with the increasing of the correlation coefficient. After aggregating wind power generated in different regions, the fluctuation rate is more significantly mitigated compared with the fluctuation range.
