Abstract:
Due to fluctuations of new energy output and load in the microgrid, serious wind and solar energy abandonment and load loss often occur during peak load hours. To this end, this paper proposes a hybrid energy storage configuration method considering the charge-discharge response of EVs. Firstly, taking full advantage of the flexible charging and discharging characteristics of EVS, the time-of-use electricity price is used to minimize the penalty cost of loss load in the micro-grid,and to promote consumption of the wind-andsolar energy which would be otherwise abandoned. Secondly, the hybrid energy storage system is used to absorb the abandoned wind-and-solar energy in the micro-grid and discharge it at peak load to reduce the power loss, and the net present value is taken as the objective function of the hybrid energy storage configuration. Finally, the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm is used to solve the hybrid energy storage allocation scheme under the maximum NPV. The simulation results have verified the effectiveness of the proposed hybrid energy storage configuration method, and the proposed configuration scheme has better economy.
