Abstract:
Focusing on the control problem of the parallel operation for distributed single-phase inverters system in microgrid, a simplified control strategy that considers the unavailability of the filter capacitor voltage and grid-connected current information of the inverter is designed, which can effectively improve the reliability of the system. For the lack of voltage information, the controller uses the internally estimated voltage reference and the measured value of the inverter-side inductor current to calculate the active and reactive power, and then the frequency and voltage droop characteristics can be used without interconnecting wires. The inverter’s operation at the reference voltage amplitude and frequency is achieved by directly controlling the modulating wave,so that it alleviates the inability to achieve a closed loop by the lack of certain voltage and current information. Experiments were carried out with the built test platform, and the experimental results have verified the effectiveness of the simplified controller configuration for parallel operation of the distributed inverters system.
