Abstract:
As the traditional linear control algorithm of the unified power quality conditioner(UPQC)has multiple PI controllers and PWM modulation links,which makes the system parameter adjustment difficult and the structure complex,this paper proposes a novel deadbeat predictive direct control strategy of UPQC. Firstly,the predictive direct control model of UPQC series and parallel side in the synchronous rotating coordinate system is derived and established;secondly,based on the principle of deadbeat control and the principle of active power balance,the generation mechanism of the given current on the series side is constructed to realize the deadbeat control of DC side voltage and predictive direct control of the network side current;Secondly,based on the principle of deadbeat control and the principle of constant voltage on the load side,the given current generation mechanism of the parallel side is constructed,and the prediction deadbeat direct control of load side voltage is realized. The proposed algorithm has no PI and PWM modulation links,and effectively simplifies the structure of the control system,and improves the dynamic performance and compensation effect of the system. The simulation and experimental results have verified the feasibility and effectiveness of the proposed control strategy.
