Abstract:
To improve the black-start ability of the power grid in areas with more light and less water,or even no hydropower, this paper proposes a scheme of using a photovoltaic power station to configure a large-capacity battery energy storage system as a black-start power source. First,a photovoltaic power generation system is built based on the DIgSILENT/PowerFactory power system simulation platform. To maintain the stability of its DC bus voltage and maximize the utilization of light resources, the photovoltaic inverter adopts voltage/reactive power outer loop current inner loop control, and the Boost converter adopts MPPT control. Second, the energy storage is configured at the sending end AC bus of the photovoltaic power generation system to form a photovoltaicbattery energy storage system(PV-BESS). The DC/AC converter of the energy storage part adopts V/f control to maintain the stability of the system voltage and frequency. Finally, considering the conditions of different solar irradiance, different temperatures, and different photovoltaic and storage capacity ratios, the transient process of the no-load charging of the transmission line and the start-up of the auxiliary equipment of the large-capacity thermal power plant is simulated to verify the feasibility of the proposed scheme.
