Optimal Available Transfer Capacities for Inter-provincial Electricity Trading Channels Considering Multiple Trading Paths

  • The simplification of the market model for inter-provincial electricity makes the virtual transaction flow inconsistent with the actual power flow, which leads to operation risks in the regional power grid. In this regard, this paper proposes an optimization method for the available transfer capacities of inter-provincial trading channels in regional power grids, where the couplings of multiple inter-provincial trading paths and the power flow congestion are both considered. On the premise of safe operation, the space of a feasible region for inter-provincial trading is maximized to give full play to the advantages of resource allocation in the regional power grid. First, the network constraints for inter-provincial electricity trading are constructed based on the relationship between the virtual trading network and the actual electricity network. Second, the vertex-oriented projection algorithm is used to find out the boundaries of the feasible region, and the calculation of the available transfer capacities is transformed into the optimal coverage problem of the feasible region. Then, the directed measure theory is introduced to describe the space size of the feasible region quantitatively, and a two-layer hybrid algorithm is designed, where the intelligent algorithm is used in the outer layer and the classic linear programming is used in the inner layer. Finally, the practicality and timeliness of the proposed method are verified in actual operating scenarios.
