基于混合型晶闸管可控移相器的抗冲击驱动策略

Anti-surge Driving Strategy Based on the Hybrid Thyristor-controlled Phase-shifting Transformer

  • 摘要: 晶闸管可控移相器(thyristor-controlled phase shifting transformer,TCPST)因为潮流调节可靠、价格便宜等优点在日益复杂的电网潮流控制中具有较大发展前景。但是晶闸管的半控特性使得TCPST在模式切换过程中可能存在绕组短路引发的电流冲击问题,这个问题限制了TCPST的工程应用推广。对此,该文首先提出了一种基于新型矩阵式直接交交变换拓扑的混合型TCPST,然后,在混合型TCPST拓扑的基础上提出了一种运用于模式切换时的抗绕组短路电流冲击驱动策略:结合阀组电流方向和工作模式的闭锁式驱动策略以解决模式切换过程中绕组短路引发的电流冲击问题;在阀组中增设RC缓冲电路,并在驱动策略中引入功率参考阈值以解决伴生的阀组瞬时开路电压冲击问题。最后对220kV电网环境下的混合型TCPST进行仿真实验,仿真结果验证了所提抗冲击驱动策略的有效性。

     

    Abstract: The Thyristor-Controlled Phase Shifting Transformer (TCPST) holds significant prospects in the increasingly complex power grid flow control due to its reliable load regulation and cost-effectiveness. However, the semi-controlled characteristics of thyristors introduce the possibility of coil short-circuit-induced current surges during mode switching, restricting the widespread engineering application of TCPST. This paper first proposes a hybrid TCPST based on a novel matrix direct AC-AC conversion topology to address this issue. Then, an anti-surge driving strategy is introduced for mode switching based on the hybrid TCPST topology: a locking driving strategy that combines valve current direction and operating mode to address the current surge issues induced by coil short-circuit during mode switching. Additionally, an RC buffer circuit is added within the valve assembly, and a power reference threshold is introduced in the driving strategy to mitigate the associated valve assembly momentary open-circuit voltage surge issues. Finally, simulations are conducted on a 220kV grid environment with the hybrid TCPST, confirming the effectiveness of the proposed anti-surge driving strategy.
