Abstract:
DC circuit breaker is the key equipment to block fault currents in the flexible DC transmission engineering. The current researches focus mostly on the novel topology structures, the DC breaking characteristics and the novel power electronic devices, but there are few researches on the intelligent perception and state evaluation of its whole states. This paper, taking the hybrid DC circuit breaker as the research object, comprehensively summarizes the state quantity that needs to be monitored. The sensing methods of the key components, such as the fast mechanical switch, the crimp insulated gate bipolar transistor, the arrester, the fast mechanism action capacitor and the isolated energy supply unit in hybrid DC circuit breaker, are summarized. Based on the existing research, the framework system of intelligent DC circuit breaker is proposed. The realization ideas of the intelligent sensing layer, the information communication layer, the data fusion layer and the intelligent application layer in the framework system are analyzed, which provides some reference for realizing the intellectualization and modularization of the DC circuit breaker.
