Abstract:
Aiming at the problems of the complex control structure, the difficult parameter tuning and the control delay in the linear control algorithm of the unified power quality conditioner (UPQC), a direct predictive control strategy for the UPQC based on the finite control set model predictive control (FCS-MPC) is proposed. On the basis of the composition of the UPQC direct control strategy system analysis, and based on the basic principle of the FCS-MPC, the finite set model predictive direct control system modeling of the UPQC in the synchronous rotating coordinate system is realized, which effectively simplifies the controller structure and reduces the complexity of the control algorithm. Based on the basic mechanism of the direct control strategy and the characteristics of the finite set model predictive current control, a given value generation mechanism suitable for the UPQC predictive direct control strategy is given. Finally, the proposed method in this paper is controlled by the MATLAB/SIMULINK simulation software. The strategy is compared with the traditional linear control algorithm, and the experimental verification is carried out based on the DSP+FPGA+TYPHOON HIL402 experimental platform. The simulation and experimental results verify the effectiveness and feasibility of the proposed control strategy.
