Abstract:
In order to effectively suppress impulse noise in power line communication (PLC) systems, an impulse noise suppression method based on generalized power transform is proposed from the perspective that the normality of the signal is destroyed after being affected by impulse noise. In this method, the Box-Cox transform is introduced, and a new zero memory nonlinearity (ZMNL) function is introduced by derivation to improve the normality of the signal and suppress the impulse noise. The simulation results verify that the proposed method has a good suppression effect on impulse noise, and the effect is better than that of the traditional blanking method.
