Abstract:
With the further development of SDN (software defined network) and NFV (network functions virtualization), the 5G network slicing technology with the two techniques considering the business requirements and network resources can meet the specific functional needs of different vertical industries in the 5G era. Each application scenario of the smart grid requires flexible slice creation, efficient operation, and dynamic update of the whole process management requirements, and supports the service requirements of differentiated networks such as mobility, security, reliability, large bandwidth, and low latency. This paper first analyzes the communication requirements of typical power services in the 5G era, then introduces the basic concepts of network slicing and three typical scenarios in power services, and proposes specific solutions for network slicing in power business scenarios. Finally, the feasibility and applicability of network slicing applied in power business are verified through practical test.
