Abstract:
Communication base station site resources have gradually become the biggest bottleneck for operators' base station construction, especially in land-scare areas around city. The high site selection and coordination costs have greatly increased the operator's site construction costs. At present, China's high-voltage transmission lines have formed channels with wide distribution and distinct voltage levels, creating good conditions for communication antenna base stations to share power towers. However, the electromagnetic environment around the tower will change after the communication base station is shared, bringing new electromagnetic radiation problems to the surrounding people and power maintenance personnel. This paper uses theoretical calculation analysis and on-site measurement methods to analyze the electromagnetic environment of the power tower sharing TD-LTE base station, including the main indicators of the antenna, power density calculation, electromagnetic environment protection distance calculation, etc. A typical tower is selected for on-site monitoring, the monitoring result is that the electric field strength limit value is 0.22~3.25 V/m, which meets the requirement of 12 V/m for electric field strength in relevant standards.
