5G通信技术在配电网保护中的应用探讨

Application of 5G Communication Technology in Distribution Network Protection

  • 摘要: 分布式新能源大规模接入配电网后,仅依靠传统过电流保护原理难以实现故障区段快速准确识别,而受限于配电网通信水平,多端量保护难以在配电网推广应用。文章考虑利用5G通信技术低时延、高可靠的特点,承载电网纵联电流差动保护及区域保护,充分利用通信通道扩大信息采集范围,实现故障精准定位隔离,提升配电网保护水平和供电可靠性。最后对5G技术在配电网保护在线监视和移动运维业务中的应用前景进行了探讨。文章研究成果可为5G通信在配电网继电保护领域的应用提供有益借鉴。

     

    Abstract: After the large-scale access of distributed new energy to the distribution network, it is difficult to realize the rapid and accurate identification of fault section only relying on the traditional over-current protection principle. However, the multi-terminal protection principle is difficult to be popularized and applied in the distribution network due to limited communication level in distribution network. 5G communication technology has the advantage of low time delay and high reliability, so this paper carries out the longitudinal differential protection and regional topology protection of distribution network based on 5G, expanding the scope of information collection, to realize accurate fault location and isolation, and to improve the protection level and the supply reliability of distribution network. Finally, the application prospect of 5G technology in online monitoring and mobile operation and maintenance of distribution network protection is discussed. Based on the research results, this paper can provide a useful reference for the application of 5G communication in the field of distribution network relay protection.
