Analysis of Influence of Virtual Synchronous Control on Subsynchronous Oscillation Damping for Grid-connected Wind Power System

  • 摘要: 为厘清虚拟同步发电机(virtual synchronous generator,VSG)对风电并网系统次同步振荡的影响机理,建立了含VSG的风电并网系统全阶状态空间模型。以振荡频率及阻尼比为量化指标,定量评估了在次同步振荡模态下VSG的阻尼特性,并通过求解参与因子得到VSG控制参数对次同步振荡的灵敏度。最后,通过时域仿真验证了建模方法的有效性和机理分析的准确性。结果表明,尽管VSG削弱了转子侧换流器内环比例系数对次同步振荡的影响,但是该系数对次同步振荡的影响仍然最大,且VSG励磁控制积分系数对次同步振荡的影响程度高于阻尼系数。

     

    Abstract: In order to clarify the influences of virtual synchronous generators(VSG) on the subsynchronous oscillations of grid-connected wind power systems, the full-order state-space model of the grid-connected wind power system with VSG is developed.After that, the damping characteristics of the VSG in the subsynchronous oscillation mode is quantitatively evaluated by adopting the oscillation frequency and damping ratio as the quantitative indicators, and the participation factor is calculated to obtain the sensitivity of the control parameters involved in VSG to subsynchronous oscillations. Finally, the validity of the modeling method and the accuracy of the mechanistic analysis are verified by the time-domain simulation. The results show that although the VSG weakens the influences of the inner-loop proportionality coefficient in the rotor-side converter on the subsynchronous oscillations,the coefficient exerts the greatest influence on subsynchronous oscillations, and the integral coefficient of the VSG excitation control imposes a higher influence on the subsynchronous oscillations than the damping ratio.
