New Form of Energy Storage Application in Active Distribution Network: Virtual Distribution Transformers and Feeders

  • 摘要: 虚拟配电变压器与虚拟配电馈线将传统配电变压器、配电馈线分别与可控型电力电子变换电路及串并联储能单元有机结合,是探索储能融合发展新场景、构建清洁低碳和安全高效的配电网、实现分布式可再生能源多区域高比例消纳的重要手段。以配电网设备“功能虚拟化”为核心思想,文中对虚拟配电变压器与虚拟配电馈线的概念进行了定义,并阐述了其功能架构。在此基础上,总结国内外相关研究现状及工程实践情况,探讨了虚拟配电变压器与虚拟配电馈线的关键技术,并对未来的研究方向进行了展望,希望对虚拟配电变压器与虚拟配电馈线未来的研究和应用提供有益的参考。

     

    Abstract: Virtual distribution transformers and virtual distribution feeders organically incorporate conventional distribution transformers and distribution feeders with controllable power electronic conversion circuits and series-parallel energy storage units, respectively. They are vital means to explore new scenarios for the integration and development of energy storage, build clean, low-carbon, safe and efficient distribution network, and realize a high proportion of distributed renewable energy accommodation in multiple regions. This paper defines the concept of virtual distribution transformer and virtual distribution feeder with the fundamental idea of “function virtualization” of distribution network equipment, and elaborates their functional architectures. On this basis, the relevant research status and engineering practice at home and abroad are summarized, the key technologies of virtual distribution transformers and virtual distribution feeders are discussed, and the future research directions are prospected, The aim of this paper is to provide useful references for the future research and application of virtual distribution transformers and virtual distribution feeders.
