Abstract:
With the rising manufacturing level in China, the ratio of sensitive load in the distribution network keeps increasing, and massive economic loss caused by voltage sag and short-term interruption has become increasingly serious. However, current assessment methods of reliability and resilience are insufficient to evaluate the continuous power supply capacity of the distribution network in the short-term scale. It is difficult to reflect the impact level of voltage sags, which cannot put forward the quantitative indicators as planning reference for voltage sag management. In this paper, on the basis of mining the connotation of the previous assessment methods for the power grid, aiming at the distribution networks with sensitive loads, an assessment method and workflow of operation resilience are presented considering the factors such as grid structure, load level, economy of control measures. Furthermore, the indicators of operation resilience for the distribution network are defined, which can provide the quantitative reference to the assessment of voltage sag management. After performing assessment through specific examples, the indicators of reliability and operation resilience with different power grid structures, and management measures are analyzed and compared in the distribution network with sensitive loads. The result shows that the indicators of operation resilience can evidently and effectively reflect the technical economy of voltage sag management.
